The Roman people did not want a dictator or a king. Do you think Augustus and the emperors that followed him were any different?

I think that some People such as the Senates did not want a King because they knew that he would turn out to be an egoistic and more powerful wanting person.Others wanted someone to lead the city. Such as Caesar, everyone wanted him and he was getting so powerful that the Senates knew what they had to do. They had to do, they had to kill Caesar, because he was getting to powerful and ego. Although Augustus was the other name for Caesar.

In my Opinion I would say that Rome has benefited the world a lot. For me this says that how they have influenced our world. Firstly because, they left many leftovers and sculptures also architecture, such as the Colosseum, and they also made many or usually sculptures of their kings or emperors as today. Secondly they also had a communication, the alphabet. It was a very intense alphabet and different letters we still have today. Such as the A, E, M, O, T. Thirdly and finally I think that
Rome also left many cultures today, such as competing in Olympics (Greece) and and making great streets.

Ancient Greece

I really enjoyed Greece, because it was interesting to learn all the different cultures, and about Alexander the Great. In Addition I thought it was fun, because we watched the Videos on "Youtube- Horrible Histories" that Alexander named over 10 cities "Alexandria". Finally I will answer our Unit Question:

"In what ways has Classical Greece influenced the modern World?"

My Answer is that we have many new and Cultures from Ancient Greece, we still have interesting Monuments, and we also still have beautiful Architecture from Pericles, etc.
